Tennessee Reception at MRO Americas

MRO Americas is the premier event for the commercial air transport maintenance, repair and overhaul industry, and TEP hosted a reception in conjunction with this year’s event in Atlanta. The Tennessee reception took place at Terminus 330 on Tuesday, April 9 for select MRO attendees. The event was well-attended and led to four projects, 400 jobs and two leads that are expected to turn into projects in the next six months.
Tennessee Reception at Coverings

The tile and ceramic industry is continuing to grow throughout Tennessee, and TEP once again capitalized on this industry by planning an event around the Coverings Conference. This year’s Coverings Conference took place April 9-12 in Orlando, and the Tennessee Economic Partnership worked closely with the State of Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development and Tennessee Valley Authority to host a reception at B.B. King’s on Wednesday, April 10 for select Coverings attendees. It was a successful, well-attended event.
Tennessee Reception at SAMPE

TEP will co-host a Tennessee reception with the Composites Coalition on from 6-8 p.m. on May 21 at Essex Bar & Bistro, which is walking distance from the SAMPE Conference at the Charlotte Convention Center. Tennessee Whiskey Tasting at Select USA

TEP will sponsor a Tennessee whiskey tasting at ECD’s booth at Select USA on June 11 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. If you have not already registered for the conference but are interested in attending, please visit the conference website to sign up.
Memphis Blue Carpet Tour
September 18-20, 2019 | Memphis
TEP will be supporting the upcoming Memphis Blue Carpet Tour hosted by the Greater Memphis Chamber. The event will include a Welcome Reception and the FedEx hub tour on the first evening. On Thursday, the group will tour St. Jude, then head to Crosstown in the afternoon for lunch and presentations by EpiCenter, Memphis/Shelby County Airport Authority, Downtown Memphis Commission, Existing Business, Workforce and Greater Memphis Medical Device Council. There will be a dinner that night followed by time on Beale Street. The event will end on Friday beginning with breakfast at The Peabody’s Capriccio Grill with members of the Memphis/Shelby County Economic Development Team, followed by optional tours of Graceland, Stax or National Civil Rights Museum.
